“I do, let’s party” was our slogan, and that’s what we did! In a classy, bridal way of course...
For our special day our families and friends joined us at Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse on Vancouver Island. It was amazing to see the months of planning and crafting come togehter for our biggest event yet. Here are a few photos of the things we did to make our wedding unique to us and memorable for our guests.
-
Chosen carefully for comfort and the elements of the forest.
-
Loved our flowers. To save a little bit we moved flowers from the ceremony into the dinner venue.
-
Wedding bands: Custom desinged by Era Design
Engagement ring: Spence Diamonds -
A quirky touch to showcase our personalities. Over the months I collected dinosaurs from all sorts of places and spray painted them gold.
-
Highly recommend our florist: Fresh View Events
-
Seven inch white pillar candles in glass jars were inexpensive and created a warming ambience. Bonus was that we didn't have to worry about them going out after a few hours.
-
Signage was rented from a local Facebook Wedding Swap page. The runners and heart streamers were custom made by us.
-
Guest frame, instead of a guest book.
-
Most of our signage came from Michaels.
-
To have and to hold, and to keep your drink cold.
Custom can sleeve for use during the wedding, and a memento to take home.
-
His and Her cocktails, plus a quirky shot for a conversation and party starter.
-
The groom’s Mom made the wedding cake.
